Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
I am a landlord. A water pipe froze and broke Saturday morning in the premises. Called immediately a restoration company and they cleaned the water but would not do the plumbing end. After calling several companies no plumber is available until monday. Tried to fix the problem temporarily so they could have running water until plumber is available but tenant refused alleging I am not a certified plumber. But still demand an immediate solution of the problem. They refused also to keep the blowers and humidifier that the restoration company set up to dry the place running because they didn't want electric bill to go up. They literally kicked me out of the house not letting me fix temporarily the situation. Please advice.

Sounds like the behaviour alleged (if true) could be a material violation of tenants' lease and therefore a basis for evicting them.
