law suit

I'm being sue by a client in small claims, she told me to stop working on her wedding dress 3 days befor her wedding day. She wants me to pay for her new dress and any monies she payed me. I still have the basic part of the dress, she has other parts that she requested.

There are some key facts missing from your question such as why she asked you to stop work

ing on the dress, i.e, your workmanship simply did not measure up to reasonably expected standards or your reneging client simply decided that she wanted a different style of dress, etc.?

Whether or not her suit against you is successful will likely depend on the answers to these or similar questions.
