Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
I am married and had an affair with a married man. I recently ended the affair, afterwhich, my husband, my employer, my family, and other affiliations received a letter advising we had an affair with a compromising picture of he and I together kissing. While he denies sending the picture, I know of no one else who would do so. What can I do to find out who sent the letters out? Do I have any legal recourse on my X-boyfriend for libel, slander, using the US Mail, harrassment or anything else you can think of?

No, not on these mere facts (in my opinion).
