offer to pay in full before lawsuit was ignored

sale of real property did not close. seller offered to buyer to pay down payment in full. buyer did not react to this offer but commenced a lawsuit. question: what is defendenat best defense. Thank you

An offer to "pay in full" may not have been enough in a real estate situation where a buyer has the right to compel actual performance of the contract. But you don't provide enough facts to say what the defenses ought to be. If you are a party to this situation, you need to discuss the real facts of this case with a real live lawyer ASAP.
