Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Options after judgment

I recently had a judgment rendered against me in General District court. I filed an appeal but did not have the money to post bond. I also filed a motion to have the case reheard and a motion to have the judgment set-aside, both of which were rejected by the court. It has been just over 30 days since the judgment. I really don't believe this case would stand up in a higher court or with another judge. Do I have any other options to reopen this case or have it moved to circuit court or something? If not, should I prepare for interrogatories and/or garnishments?

Re: Options after judgment

If you did not perfect your appeal within the proper time period, the judgment is final and you should prepare for the collection process to begin.
