Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

I went to purchase a car, signed the contract; but because the car was not quite ready, did not take possession of the vehicle. When I reached home, I thought about it, and decided it was a bad deal. Can I get my deposit back, if I told the dealership the very next day that I did not want the car?

No law says that, but asking nicely might help. Most are not good deals. If not, you may need to have an attorney help you. If used, you should consider checking CARFAX (carfax.com) for any wreck damage, salvage indicators, odometer problems, title problems, etc. Good luck.
