Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
I recently was being sued by a credit card company when I notified the attorney for the CC Co. that I could not appear on that sepcific dat. The attorney did not respond and they were granted a Default Judgment. Can I file a request for a rehearing. (Virginia General District Court)

Yes, on these facts you should be able to file a motion with the clerk's office
of the general district court (civil division) to vacate or set aside the default judgment at issue. But do it now before any more time elapses.
