Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
I recently terminated service with a propane gas company and switched to another. Prior to my terminating the service, the supplier filled my tank. They are now telling me that it is their policy not to refund for any unused gas in their tank if a customer changes to another propane company. Is this legal? Can I charge them storage for the time it takes them to remove their tanks from my property?

The answers to your questions should be locatable within the original
agreement which you presumably had with this propane company which
outlined the terms of service to you as their customer.
