Selling of property
My questions is this I have a storage unit that I pay for and I let a family memeber store stuff in it and they agreed to pay monthly fees and haven't and now I am stuck holding this unit can I legally sell the stuff to recoop the money I have had to spend paying for this unit?

Assuming that the only items which remain in the storage unit are those belonging to this remiss family member then any right to claim and sell them for nonpayment of rent would likely belong to the owner of the storage unit rather than you.
(Of course, you could always send this relative a written notice letting him know that if he doesn't come and get the stuff by a date certain, it will likely be disposed of by some person one way or the other.)
