Slander and Accusation of Junevile Crime

A child is falsey accusing my child of a crime and made false statements to the police. (My child has not been charged.) The accuser is now making false statements in the neighborhood and at school.

I want the police report to be purged and I want the slanderous statements to stop. What options do I have?
