Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Sorority Battle

I am a co-founder of Phi Omega Delta Sorority, Inc. (there were six founders total) and I have recently found out that myself along with two other founders have been removed from the sorority incorporation documents without our approval or knowledge. In addition, they are attempting to sanction and suspend one of the founders and strip her of all founding rights and are attempting to come after me. This is only after we have questioned the leadership of one of the founders who is also the national president. She is attempting to take over the organization and set her own agenda. This is not sitting well with myself and I would like to know what can be done legally to them for removing us fromt he inc. documents and also for them attempting to take over the organization. I would like to dissolve the organization or if I was to leave, take the greek letters and all information created by me, with me.

Concerned Founder.

Re: Sorority Battle

You should consult with an attorney and have them go over the documents and law with you. Good luck.
