Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
s.s.a. (southsideadoption) of dinwiddie, had several dogs for adoption in the colonial heights petsmart. I was interested in a Beagle... I was denied an opportunity to adopt because 1) I hunt ,,, 2) the dog must be housed indoors... per their contract..
Tell me they can not get away with this please. and what recourse do I have. I am trying to put pressure on PetSmart, seems they are reluctant.. I have several beagles who hunt and are happily housed outside... I feel discriminated against, and that they should not be able to deny adoption because a pet and owner engages in activities, that are completely legal, and within the dogs designed ability to do whatever he is bred for..... What's next.... can't adopt a dog if he eats dog food???? got to buy him ground beef not to contain less than 93% lean....
Help me stop this insanity...

Seems to me that the Beagle breeders are completely within their rights. (You wanna bring in BIG BROTHER to tell these private enterprise folks otherwise?)
