suing for given property
my brother in law after a hunting trip gave me a shotgun.now over 2 years later he is suing me to get it back ...my question is can i win this case and can i win this case with a lawyer present with me ?

If you can credibly prove (by a preponderance of the evidence) that the shotgun was in fact given to you as a gift, you will prevail at trial.
However, it would appear, given the manner in which you've framed the question, that you more than likely will need the assistance of competent counsel in order to do so.
