Unpaid Wages

I completed a job as an independant contractor for a individual who will notpay me now and it has been three months. I know who he is and he owns his own company and I know what it is. I do not know what to do because I have to pay a $48 filing fee and the amount he owes isonl $125. What can i do? Thanks

Send a written notice demanding full payment by a date certain, and, if no remittance is received by such date, pay the $48 filing fee and proceed with your small claims court case.
