Vacation pay in Virginia

I recently changed jobs. I gave a 2 week written notice that I was leaving and I requested that my 40 hours of remaining vacation pay be paid on my last check. I was never told that I wouldn't get it, it just wasn't on my last check. What are my options?

Unless you were working under a contact which guaranteed that you would receive compensation for accrued vacation leave upon termination, I'm afraid you're out of luck on this issue.
