Vehical damages

I have had my vehical at a mechanic for about 8 mths having the motor replaced. My car was inside of the shop, but recently moved outside with a window left down (which was not down when i left it) causing damages on the inside. Can i sue for damages to my car being as though my car was not left in the condition it now is in?

Well, before you head on in to court, what does the owner of the shop have to say about your claim of liability for this damage to your car's interior when the car was supposedly in his care and custody?
