This all depends. It depends if a doctor says your lumbar spinal stenosis is so severe that it rules out all kinds of work such as Identification Clerk, Security Monitor Watcher, Ticket Taker, etc. It would help if the doctor who rules out all work is a specialist.
I am basing this answer on my 35 years as a Social Security Disability Attorney.
