Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

bigamist &illegal alien

Hello,

Last February,I obtained an annulment for my 5 months mariage since I found out that my husband married me while still being married in the country of Morocco. His wife lives with his own mother and waiting for him to fix his green card to come see her.I was victim of a sham green card mariage. His visitor's visa expires in 2000 so he has no immigration status....I wish to know wether this is a civil matter or criminal offense from his part that i can report to the police...With this new immigration bill pushed by President Bush I would hate to see such a deceiptful man become a lawful resident of the U.S.A I reported him to the Immigration Customs Enforcement but the impression I got is they are so overwhelmed and do not have time to pick him up as he is a low priority comparing to other violence and drug related criminals...What si my best course of action.Thank you.

Re: bigamist &illegal alien

File another report, this time with U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and reference your sham marriage by any and all numbers by which it may have been identified back then--whenever it was and which apparently allowed this foreign imposter to perpetrate a fraud upon the American immigration system and to obtain lawful permanent resident status to which apparently he was not entitled. Request that your information be inputted into all relevant databases.

Then send a copy to the "ICE" folks.
