citizenship eligibility
sir, i was petitioned by my step father (a US citizen) and ive been here for 3 years already, now my question is am i eligible to apply for a citizenship? since im here for 3 years already? or i still have to wait for another 2 years?

Assuming that you've received your lawful permanent residency status (green card)by now and that your petitioning stepparent has(or had at the time he sponsored you) at least one other U.S. citizen child, then you should be able to now apply for U.S. citizenship in your own right.
