i am greencard holder from 11/05/97. I was charge with domestic violence in 2001 no physical abuse involved. After my ex get green card from me, we divorced in 2004.
So can i able to become US citizen. you help will be hightly helpful.

If you were convicted of a domestic violence offense which could've required you to spend up to a year in jail(even if you merely received probation and actually spent no time at all in jail), you may have problems in becoming a naturalized citizen.
