Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia
I'd like to get some clearification on ESTA and its restrictions. My brother (from Hungary) just visited us for 2 weeks with ESTA and we talked about the possibility of studying here in the USA. I have looked up the requierments for a student visa and we'd meet all of them. But I heard from a friend of mine that if someone travels with ESTA once the person is not able to change his status for 2 years. Does that mean that my brother would have to wait 2 full years before he can even apply for a student visa? Is there any way for him to get one earlier?
Thank you for your time!

I have no idea; why not ask ESTA(whatever that may be)?
