Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

Deceitful Marriage

I married an African (Ghanian) in 2002 he has never considered me as his wife. we argued for years regarding that. He later hired a lawyer with out my kowledge to aid in a speedy citizenship. I only found out after I saw document come in the mail from a law firm in the Washington DC Area. He would never let me see or tell me the truth about the stautus. All of a sudden he told me that when our lease expires we need to separate because we were having problems and feel it was neccessary in order for the marriage to work. He lied again! I was left homeless for a month and a half with 2 kids of my own. He kept telling me that he want to talk so we could discuss our marriage, and he was going to help with my leaving expensees because I sacrificed so much while he persude his degree in the Computer field. Shortly after I finally found somewhere to live, he literally disappeared. He will not answer my phone calls, nor do he want me to know where he lives. Are there any type of charges I can file against him for deceiving me and can his citizenship be annulled since apparently that was his real intent of our marriage.

Re: Deceitful Marriage

I would recommend that you send a detailed letter to the USCIS outlining this situation along with

any case #'s that were attached to your application sponsoring this apparent fraudster for his undeserved citizenship. (And, if you feel that you lack the skills to compose such a letter, then hire an attorney to do it.)
