Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia
DWI and U.S citizenship
Could a 3rd DWI which is a felony in VA potentially deny my right to U.S citizenshp or renewal of green card? since it's about to expire. Can I go abroad to U.K foir my sister's wedding?

Re: DWI and U.S citizenship
It might be possible, in answer to your first question, if the USCIS decided that this third DUI offense generating a felony conviction amounted to a crime of moral turpitude, although generally DUI convictions are not considered CIMT's(Crimes Involving Moral Turpitude) as the U.S. Supreme Court opined in the Leocal case from Florida a few years ago. (An attorney with expertise in immigration matters should be able to further advise you on this particular issue.)
And, yes, you should be able to go to your sister's wedding in the U.K. as long as such a jaunt would not violate the conditions of your pretrial release.
