Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

Expediting court docketing

My husband and I were married in July 2008 (I am an American citizen). We filed an I-485 to adjust his status immediately afterwards. In December 2008 ICE charged my husband with: failure to notify Homeland Security of an address change, failure to maintain his F-1 status, and working without authorization. It is now March and we still do not have a court date. Is there anything an attorney can do get his case docketed faster?

Re: Expediting court docketing

Not too likely, despite assurances by some atorneys to the contrary, since "ICE" has many such cases to

present for prosecution and matters, consequently,

are likely to proceed at their usual tortoise-like pace.
