Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

Filing Green Card from H1B

I'm on h1b with Ms in social science-marketing and research focus.

My Bachelor's degree was 3 yrs, but completed 2 semesters in US before I got moved into the MS program.

When I file my green Card, I would be catagoried as EB 2 or EB 3 .

My H1b was filed under Master's quota and have US masters degree.

thanks for the response.

Re: Filing Green Card from H1B

If you're employed (or have a job offer from a U.S. company plus a master's degree at the time you file for lawful permanent residency(LPR), you should (hopefully)be considered as having EB-2(A) status rather than EB-3, which should allow for faster processing of your petition for LPR than if you're categorized as EB-3.
