Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia
H1 transfer and Leaving Current job
I will be moving to new company soon and i have to decide when to put in the papers. The company I am joining has asked me to resign after the Visa is transferred to their company. So my question is that can i work for my current company for 2 weeks ( Required notice period), even after the visa has been transferred to the new company?

Re: H1 transfer and Leaving Current job
I would say no, you cannot without violating the applicable USCIS rules and regulations which govern this matter. (Better not transfer the visa until you've terminated your current employment.)
