legal working in the uS
could someone please tell me step by step how can my new husband be able to work in the US. i was born and raised in the US so what steps does he have to take to be able to work, we know that a legal marriage was step 1....whats after that?thanks

Depending on whether your husband is in US or abroad, the process is much different.
If he is already in the US, it also depends on when and how he entered US. Please send me an email about the details and we will go from there.

Is your husband in the United States?
If so, after your marriage takes place, you will need to file Form I-130/I-485 on behalf of your husband. In order for your husband to work, he must also submit Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, with the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services. If he wishes to travel while his "green card" application is pending, he must obtain special permission from the USCIS before he departs. This is known as Advance Parole (Form I-131).
