Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

I am married to a USC but in removal proceedings. I ve been in this country for 4 years and worked illegaly as a nanny for 2. The reason I overstayed was because I was applying for school and I got the bank statement late so the international advisor told me that i a day or two late and i can't go to school there and i lost my status. I didn't have the money for the attorney so I just overstayed my visa,I didn't drive or do any other illegal activities (other than living here) but I was detained in august last year. After telling the special agent I wasnt going to marry my bf( they were putting preassure on me, and i was terrified) I did anyways. My first court date is in January 22. I am madly in love with the person i married, he is very optimistic and think that i will be fine. I am not. I know he has a great credit, never done drugs or anything. He works for DHS also.. I don't know if i should or not, but I am freaking out.. Please tell me, what are my chances that on my court date my case will be dissmised or will they even believe us? I have a terribly bad luck and I am afraid they won't believe us,. Please, tell me your opinion on this. I appreciate your help...

If you are in Removal proceedings, you really need a good Immigration Attorney who is experienced in this area of practice. There might be a Legal Aid type office in your area, which could provide low cost court representation for you. I practice in Los Angeles, so I cannot suggest where you can go in your area.
