Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia
Did not obtain I-94 when entering usa
when I entered the U.S. from canada in june/06 I did not intend to stay so I did not receive an I-94 after arriving my fiance (who is an American) and I decide that it would be best to get married immediatly now we are filing immigration papers and they all request my I-94 since I did not receive one I am not sure how to proceed .
Any information would be much appreciated.
thank-you

You may go ahead and submit paperwork with a copy of your Canadian passport / birth certificate. They generally allow this for Canadians only. Disclaimer: Prior to submitting, you should have a consultation with an attorney specializing in immigration law.
