Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

Hi, I had a R Visa type V-2, expired in 2008, before the expiration I applied for I-485 and also for I-765 through the lawyer, as the process was going through, I got my work permit, later on due to my lawyer negligence, he never replied to questions to USCIS. So the case has been passed, later on rejected. Now my work permit expired to.

Is there a way i can renew my visa? or can i apply for any other visa?, can i still fight on the same I-485 ? please suggest me for any other way..thank you
