Sponser A Friend

I'M US citizein and I would like to sponser A friend of mine to came and visit US he not been here before he lived in Kenya what thing I need to do to sponser or to Invite him that he can get a visa and come here to visit can you help me what I need to do.and what thing my frend he need to have when I apply for him

U.S. immigration laws do not permit individual citizens to sponsor friends but only family members to whom such citizens are closely related

by blood, eg.,father-son, brother-sister, mother- daughter, etc. or if by marriage, husband-wife.

These kinds of sponsorship are designed to fascilitate the reunification of familes who may have become separated for a variety of reasons.

Your friend could apply for a visitor's visa or

if he were to possess special skills which American workers might not possess in great abundance, he might be fortunate enough to find an American employer who would be willing to sponsor him as an H1B visa applicant.
