When applying for naturalization you need to prove good moral character for the 5 years preceding the filing of the application. Since you have two convictions in that 5 year window you may wish to wait to file. Also you should consult with an immigration attorney who can analyze your convictions before filing to determine whether your convictions will put you at risk of being placed in removal proceedings. The way that convictions are treated in an immigration context is very different than in a criminal context.
Feel free to contact my office to schedule a consultation.
