Traveling Abroad while Naturalization Pending
For how long can an immigrant travel abroad before obtaining a passport? Also, can travel documents begranted multiple times before the passport is given without any penalty to the indiidual?

The prospective immigrant must apply for advanced parole from the Department of Homeland Security (Citizen and Immigration Services)and for issuance of the appropriate travel documents. (These papers will indicate the time allowed.)
I am not aware of any particular penalty nor sanctions attaching for such multiple applications.
