Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
Accident no insurance???
Is it possible to be compensated if you get into an accident with a police officer and you did not have any auto insurance and the police officer gave a statement admitting fault, there was loss wages, bodily injury and the vehicle was a total loss almost a year ago ?

Re: Accident no insurance???
If all that you claim is true, you would have a cause of action against the police officer and likely his agency as well, and you should be able to recover for each of the items which you've mentioned as a loss. (You should, nevertheless, keep in mind that once the statute of limitations which is applicable to your case[probably two years from date of accident]passes, your right to bring suit is gone forever.
