Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
charge-back commissions
I resigned from an insurance company June 06 and received 2 commission checks in Aug and September. Today I received a letter requesting the $ back due to charge-backs. Do I have to send this $ back if ''they'' sent it. It appears that when I left the company clients left as well.

Re: charge-back commissions
No, you don't have to send the money back, but if in fact the funds were improperly paid to you
and that you are not entitled to retain them, then the company could sue you for the return of the money.
