Damage to car in Parking lot
During a day of high winds a dumpster rolled into a car parked in our lot. Who if anyone is responsible for paying for the damages? The waste management company that operates the dumpster? the landlord that owns the property? the business where the parking is available? the owner of the car?

Re: Damage to car in Parking lot
It's conceivable that the first three which you mentioned might share in some
of the cupability for the damage to the car, unless the high winds were deemed in effect an act of God. However, if the car was was properly parked in a designated parking space, I do not see how the owner of the damaged vehicle could be included in that category of possible shared culpability.
