Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
I am currently enrolled in a Cafeteria health plan with my Employeer.
I find the plan to be very ineffective and Have been trying to cancel it. When I contacted my HR person they informed me that according to IRS Code 125 I can not cancel it for a min of one year. I have looked up the code and can't see any such wording. Can they make me stay in the plan ?

No, not under any provision of the IRS Code cited which likely has nothing to
do with employee health care plans.
