Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
Who's at fault?
I was involved in an accident in a parking lot where someone was backing out of a parking space and hit the front/side of my car-I was driving straight through the parking lot and could not avoid her by the time I saw/realized what was happening. She is trying to say I hit her when I feel that she hit me. Who is at fault in this situation?

Re: Who's at fault?
The proverbial she said vs. he said situation. Who's to be believed? Probably, you, unless you were proceeding through the parking lot at a speed exceeding 10 mph, and, then, perhaps, her. (But, of course, it might also well depend upon the clarification of other relevant facts which have yet to be offered into evidence.)
