Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
Who's at Fault
I parked my car at a friends house. It got keyed my insurance company said they are going to sue my friends homeowners insurance to pay for my car. But if they can't proove who did it how can my friend be held reliable. They live in a rented house and I don't want them to get evicted because of something someone else did?

Re: Who's at Fault
It would not be your friend who might be found liable, but rather his homeowner's insurance carrier who under the terms of such policy might possibly be liable irrespective of who actually perpetrated the evil deed.
