Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
Health insurance
An employee is out of work due to a covered workers compensation claim. While she's been out, she has not been paying her portion of the employer-provided health insurance. No return to work in the near future. Can employer ask her to begin paying back premiums, or does she have a right to not pay anything in health insurance premiums for the time she's been out because employer hasn't alerted her to the situation until now?

Re: Health insurance
If this employee received the benefit of the insurance coverage for the time period in question, then she should pay whatever her share may be for this coverage, if asked to do so by her employer.
