Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
insurance claim
my home was broken into and I had to supply manuals to the adjuster do I have a right to get them back evn though I don't have the items anymore. The problem is some of the items I will need to replace will be bought used and don't come with manuals as well as some of the tool manuals have specifications to my vehicles that i wrote in them? Should they have to give them back or at least make me a copy?

Re: insurance claim
They might give them back. Did you ask? Also, many manuals are available free online.
