Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
insurance fraud?
an ambulance company i have dealt with came to my aid one evening and i did not want to be admitted and taken to the hospital, but they obtained my insurance information apparently through the hospital, where i have been before. is it legal for the hospital to give this to them, or legal that the ambulance company obtained it and filed for a 300$ claim for ''transportation'', when i was never taken?

Re: insurance fraud?
No, it would not be "legal" for the ambulance company to be submitting a claim to your insurance company for services which were never provided.
In the law that's known as fraud.
