life insurance distribution
my deceased husband had life insurance. his ex-wife is the beneficiary. do i get any of the payment since we were married at the time of his death?

Only if you're listed on the policy as a named beneficiary. (The fact that you were married to your husband at the time of his death is irrelevant.)
