Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
If an life insurance policy has a step father and mother's name on it and the mother is the one that caused the insurers death can the step father still use it for the child's services?

If the stepfather is named as a beneficiary on the life insurance policy and had nothing to do with causing the death of the person insured, then he should be entitled to whatever proceeds are available under the policy to an otherwise qualified beneficiary.
