Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia

Non-liability pending gurdian's signiture

I am a 16 year old lisenced, insured driver in the state of Virginia. I have a girlfriend that rides with me in the car to places. Her father seems liek the type that would sue a family out of house and home if he got the chance. If I had his notorized signiture on a document that I typed up myself that stated he couldn't sue me in any way for any accident his daughter was involved in involving her being in my automobile when I got in a car accident regardless if it was my fault or not, would that document hold up in court if he wanted to sue? If not can you suggest another solution without me having to get a huge umbrella insurance policy?

Thanks

Such a document would not be enfocible as the law does not let you contract away your negligence and the resulting damages. The only sure way of not beig sued by a passenger other than to be a perfect driver is not to give them a ride. Incidently, once your friend turns 18 , her father has no control over her lawsuits.
