Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia
Obtaining Short-Term Disability Insurance
If I obtain short-term disability insurance with the knowledge that I might have to undergo minor surgery and be out of work/income, should I inform the insurance company? Is this considered fraudulent, or am I being responsible by buying insurance when I know I could be out of income? Will they deny my application?
