my parental father dies and my cousin collects

I received a call telling me that my father had passed...

I was then informed that a relative has coersed him to make him her beneficiary somehow, this person is a cousin that I am not familiar with. I have attempted to call her regarding preparations for he funeral which she won't acknowlegde to me. My father has not always been in my life I need to add this.

I am attempting to find a lawyer to change that she is the beneficiary to my fathers insurance. I did not know of this change this cousin somehow convenienced him into letting her.handle his information carry but only after the fact and a little over a year ago after being told he had cancer. I am his only child, this is not what he wanted, though he told me verbally and the burden of proof is on me. How can I stop this, I am sure that the insurnce compamny has not been apprised with all the facts. There is more detail... where do I go to stop this. can i put a hold on things somehow and have these matters lookedinto by an attorney. I have forwarded a letter to the insurance company as they asked.
