Legal Question in Insurance Law in Virginia

What is VA law regarding notification of health benefit changes. Our policy changed & we were not notified of the changes to our benefits. I thought I purchased something that it turns out was not what was presented to me at the time of purchasing the health care policy.

There is no such Virginia law (as far as I am aware) since the policy itself would likely be relied on as to what notification to the policy holder might be required(if any).
