Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Our boss pays us by the month a month nehind. Ie. Jan's wages would be paid at the end of Feb. Is this legal? Do we have any options. We've looked up the labor laws, but we aren't not sure if we are reading them correctly. They sound like we must be paid bi-weekly and not a period behind.

Thank you.

One way to look at the situation described is to determine what was owed to you as of June 1, 2010, and that has not yet been payed And, if it amounts to at least two weeks pay and the middle of June has already passed without your being compensated for this amount, then there may be a violation of the Commonwealth's labor and/or wage and hour laws, and you could request

an investigation by the appropriate section of the labor and employment

division of the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry(VDLI).
