Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
My Boss is going on Vacation, The Office will be closed during this time,
My boss will be out of town for over a week. And i don't think hes planning to pay any of us, we work at a dental office. Shouldn't he have to pay us something? Also Is holiday pay something that has to be paid out?

Virginia employers are under no obligation to provide "holiday pay" to their employees unless provided for under a contract of employment or collective bargaining type agreeemnt.
However, employees who work for an employer during a given work week (whether the employer is in the office or not) must be appropriately compensated under applicable wage and hours laws.
